This work draws together the voices of our people, the realities of our parish life, and the mission entrusted to us – forming a clearer picture of who we are, how we can live the faith more fully, and where God is calling us next.

Connect Events

A renewed vision and set of initiatives to strengthen and guide our parish family over the next several years has been formed from parishioner input, analysis, and prayerful discernment. These plans require more feedback to better gauge the wisdom and fit of these proposals for our parish family – especially what may be missing or unclear, and what wider considerations should be kept in mind as they are pursued. 

Everyone is invited to read over these initiatives - and then consider, dialogue and pray over them before providing feedback in the survey below. Connect Events offered as an easy and comfortable forum where we can explore these initiatives and share thoughts with one another.  

Pick a Date:
  • Wednesday, 7/22 after 6:30 PM Mass (HFK) – Dessert Night
  • Saturday, 7/25 after 5:00 PM Mass (SJV) – Dessert Night
  • Sunday, 8/2 after 9 and 11a Masses (HFK) – Café 
  • Saturday, 8/15 after 9a Mass & Living Rosary (HFK) – Tabling and talking
  • Saturday, 8/15 after 5p Mass (HFK) – Dessert Night
  • Sunday, 8/16 after 9 and 11a Masses (SJV) – Coffee & Donuts

Questions:

With regard to each of the first three initiatives – which have a more structural character – please help us further consider:
  1. Does this initiative seem like a wise direction for our parish family? Why or why not?
  2. While the final details are still being developed, what do you believe is missing, unclear, or in need of improvement?
In considering all five initiatives as a whole:
  1. Do they reflect the most important needs of our parish family? What is missing or in need of adjustment?
  2. Where might you see yourself participating, benefiting, or praying for their success?

Questions About Connect Events

Yes, the presentation content is identical at both HFK and SJV. You only need to attend one session. Members of the PFAC council will lead the discussion on the new initiatives and answer any questions you have. 

    

Yes! Even if you have already completed the survey or do not have any questions, we still want you to attend. The Connect Events are a great opportunity to meet the PFAC, get to know other parishioners, and enjoy light refreshments as we continue to strengthen our parish family.
